Recycle your batteries from torches, toys and smoke alarms etc
Aldi supermarkets provide a battery recycling service for used household batteries. These batteries can also be recycled at our facilities.
Lead acid batteries (the kind used in cars, motorcycles and boats) can be taken to your Member Council facilities.
Mobile phone batteries - check out Mobile Muster for your nearest drop off point.
Light globes including halogen, incandescent and fluorescent lights can be recycled for free at the collections points in any Mitre 10 or IKEA.
Asbestos is classed as a hazardous material and can only be disposed of at certain locations in Australia.
Asbestos must be handled correctly.
